Georgia LB Jordan Jenkins Tweeted Out A Regrettable Take On The De'Andre Johnson Incident

Video emerged earlier today showing Florida State freshman QB De'Andre Johnson punching a woman in the face at a Tallahassee bar last month. The incident led to Johnson's suspension from the FSU program, though he has yet to be dismissed.

Georgia linebacker Jordan Jenkins offered up his opinion on the Johnson situation on Twitter, and he probably would have been better off if he hadn't.

Look, is there a conversation to be had about how Solo's issues with domestic violence have seemingly had little negative impact on her career with the U.S. Women's National Team? Probably. Should Jenkins have not tried to use these circumstances to start that conversation? Definitely.

The video of Johnson is bad, and he should be dismissed for his actions. There have also been plenty of instances where athletes accused or found guilty of domestic abuse have suffered little to no consequences.

Guys, don't hit women. It's really that simple.
