Georgia Suspends Starting Safety Josh Harvey-Clemons For Week 1 For Marijuana Use

Bad news for Dawgs fans.

It's a shame that often the college football offseason is often plagued with bad news for teams and schools, but I guess that's just how the cookie crumbles. Today, the bad news was in the SEC -- Georgia starting safety Josh Harvey-Clemons was suspended for week one by head coach Mark Richt for marijuana use.

Harvey-Clemons only recorded nine tackles in 2012, but is expected to play a big role this year. Missing the season opener is a big deal, because Georgia is thrown into the fire right away in a big neutral-site matchup with Clemson.
