Georgia gets right into SEC play in its 2019 season opener. The Bulldogs will travel to Vanderbilt in Week 1.

As expected, Georgia is heavily favored to beat the Commodores, who they handled with ease last season. Georgia beat Vanderbilt 41-13 in Athens in 2018.

This week, BetOnline released betting lines for all Week 1 games. Georgia is favored by more than three touchdowns.

The Bulldogs are 24 1/2-point favorites over Vanderbilt.

Georgia-Vanderbilt is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 31. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.

Georgia will likely open the season as the No. 3 team in the country, behind only Clemson and Alabama. The Bulldogs are gunning for a third-straight SEC East title and a return to the College Football Playoff.

Alabama has been their bugaboo the last two seasons. Is this the year the Bulldogs finally get past the Tide?
