Week 1 is an interesting spot for Jake Fromm and the Georgia Bulldogs this season. On Saturday night, the No. 3 Dawgs travel to Vanderbilt to open its season.

Nashville is a pretty attractive trip for rival fans. There should be plenty of red and black in the city next weekend.

Fromm certainly expects that to be the case. He spoke about the fan support he expects to see for this weekend's game at Vandy.

He spoke to the media about it on Monday. Video via Jake Rowe:

Saturday Down South transcribed Jake Fromm's quote about Georgia fans taking over the Vanderbilt game:

“Yeah, we’ll see. I heard a lot of people are going and hopefully the Georgia crowd shows out. It’s great to see the fans travel, we love making any kind of away game as much of a home game as we can. Hopefully they travel, hopefully they are there.”

The StubHub listings for Vanderbilt's tickets bear it out, as well. As of this writing, the season opener against Georgia costs $150 to get into the stadium. The second most expensive game is LSU, which is just $58, and other games like Northern Illinois, UNLV, ETSU, and even SEC East rival Kentucky cost just $6 as of today.

That would certainly indicate some serious Georgia fan support coming up to Nashville. Kirby Smart's team should appreciate that on Saturday.
