Georgia's football program has dismissed defensive lineman Chauncey Rivers following his third arrest in seven months, Kirby Smart announced this afternoon.
Rivers, a four-star defensive end in the 2015 class, was arrested earlier this week for possession of marijuana. It's the third time he had been arrested on such a charge.

Rivers was ranked the 9 weak-side defensive end in the '15 class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
Georgia opens its 2016 season Sept. 3 against North Carolina in Atlanta.
