Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldogs are heading to the national championship. He was pretty pumped right after the game.

We were treated to an absolutely fantastic game in the first College Football Playoff semifinal between Georgia and Oklahoma at the Rose Bowl, and Kirby Smart's team outlasted Lincoln Riley's for a 54-48 overtime win.

Smart took over for Mark Richt as Georgia head coach ahead of last year, and after a middling first season, he has elevated the program in a big way this year.

As he ran onto the field following tonight's monumental win, he dropped a line that will be familiar to SEC fans from when Will Muschamp was caught on camera yelling it: "Boom M*****f******!"

Afterwards, Smart got pretty choked up during his on-field interview with fellow Georgia alum Maria Taylor, when asked what it meant for him to take his alma mater to the national championship.

Smart's Bulldogs will play for a chance to claim the program's first national championship since the 1980-81 season.
