The 2014 SEC Media Poll was released this morning at the conference's media days in Hoover, Ala. Alabama was picked to win the SEC, with South Carolina selected to win the east division.
Georgia was picked to finish second in the SEC East.
Does coach Mark Richt agree with that?
Of course, Richt is expected to say that. There probably isn't a clear favorite in the SEC East, though. Georgia and South Carolina both possess a lot of talent, but both teams have to replace some key starters, and will have a new man at quarterback after the departures of Aaron Murray and Connor Shaw.
Georgia and South Carolina are both expected to start the season ranked in the top 15.
