Mark Richt is rooting for his former school tonight.
Richt, who coached at Georgia from 2001-15, has always been classy when discussing his old employer.
Today was no different, as the Miami head coach tweeted good luck to the Bulldogs as they prepare to play Alabama in the College Football National Championship Game.
A number of Georgia’s top players are Richt recruits, including linebackers Roquan Smith and Lorenzo Carter, defensive tackle Trenton Thompson, wide receiver Terry Godwin and running backs Sony Michel and Nick Chubb.
Good luck to the Dawgs tonight! I’m happy for the players, coaches, and the Georgia people! U Family!

Richt compiled an overall record of 145-51 at Georgia, winning the SEC in 2002 and 2005 and posting a 10-5 mark in bowl games.
Tonight’s national title game begins at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
