Georgia football added a big recruit to its 2022 class this afternoon. You can put the emphasis on “big.”
Madison (MS) Germantown four-star running back Branson Robinson, the No. 4 back in the 2022 cycle according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, announced his commitment to Georgia today. He is the Bulldogs’ 12th commitment for next year.
The 5-foot-10, 220-pound Robinson may be entering his senior year in high school, but he doesn’t look like too many other teenagers. A powerlifter in addition to being a star on the gridiron, Robinson can put up some ridiculous numbers in the weight room.
After his announcement today, a photo of Robinson went viral on Twitter, courtesy of UGASports.com’s Radi Nabulsi.

That kid’s arms are like bowling balls. Thomas Jones-esque. His legs aren’t too small either.
On paper, Robinson is the latest recruit to follow in the tradition of freakishly athletic and well-built running backs heading to Georgia.
Hey look, Georgia has another monster running back. The beat goes on. https://t.co/KerfQvqTaS

As a junior, Robinson rushed for 1,179 yards and 15 touchdowns on only 121 carries. That’s over 9.7 yards per rush.
It’s not surprising either. After all, how can you tackle this dude?
