Quarterback Brice Ramsey has changed his mind: he's coming back to Georgia.
Back in March, Ramsey announced his intention to leave the Bulldogs after he graduated in May. It appeared he was angling for more playing time, after appearing in 14 games over three seasons.
Now, Ramsey has decided to stay at Georgia. Dawgs247 broke the news:
With Ramsey back in the fold and presumably backing up Jacob Eason, this likely enables Georgia to redshirt prized freshman Jake Fromm.
Ramsey threw for 582 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions during his first three seasons with the 'Dawgs. He also moonlighted as a punter, compiling a 38.7 yard average on 45 punts.
