The Georgia Bulldogs reportedly have a new quarterback on their roster. Former Virginia Cavalier Greyson Lambert, originally rated as a three-star signal-caller for the class of 2012 by Rivals, is transferring to play for head coach Mark Richt's program, according to ESPN's Joe Schad. Lambert started nine games for UVA in 2014, but reportedly lost his starting job this spring.

Because Lambert has already graduated, he'll be eligible to play immediately. He has two years left.

Lambert is expected to compete for the starting job this fall. Hutson Mason, who started for UGA last season, graduated and is now part of the Washington Redskins' franchise.

Lambert reportedly visited both Georgia and Florida this past weekend.
