Athens-Clarke County police are investigating Georgia wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie after a woman filed a complaint saying he threatened to kill her, according to a report from OnlineAthens.com.

Per OnlineAthens:

The woman, identified in a police report as a UGA student, told police McKenzie told he was “going to call some friends and they were going to come out and he was going to kill her.

Four UGA football players are listed as witnesses in the report: safety Dominick Sanders, wide receiver Terry Godwin, linebacker D’Andre Walker and safety Jarvis Wilson.

Well, this isn't the type of news the Bulldogs wanted going into Saturday's showdown with Alabama.

McKenzie, a dynamic sophomore, returned a punt 77 yards for a touchdown against Vanderbilt earlier this season. He also has five receptions for 89 yards and two carries for 32 yards.
