Report: Houston's Tom Herman Has Strong Interest In Georgia Job

Several college football coaches have resigned or been ousted already today, with the most notable being longtime Georgia coach Mark Richt. Expect the vacancy in Athens to be a coveted position.

According to one report, Houston head coach Tom Herman, one of the hot names on the coaching market, is very interested in the opening at Georgia.

Herman, of course, orchestrated a record-setting offense at Ohio State in 2014 before taking over at Houston. While on staff with the Buckeyes, he had a major role in recruiting the Atlanta area, according to USA Today's Dan Wolken

There will be no shortage of good candidates there, but on paper, Herman seems like a quality hire for the Bulldogs.
