Earlier: Miami's football program is about to have a new head coach, according to a report. 

The Hurricanes are expected to hire former Georgia head coach Mark Richt, per Peter Ariz of CanesInsight.com. 

Richt, 55, had been coaching the Bulldogs since 2001. He's a Miami alumnus, having played for the Hurricanes from 1979-82.
