Report: MRI Results Reveal Todd Gurley Has A Torn ACL In His Left Knee

Georgia star running back Todd Gurley, who was forced to sit out four games by the NCAA after an autographs-for-money scandal, returned to the Bulldogs this past Saturday against Auburn, rushing for 138 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately, his day ended a bit early, as he injured his left knee midway through the fourth quarter. Sunday, we learned that Gurley's situation is far more serious than originally thought.

According to Michael Kim of 120 Sports, Gurley's MRI results show a torn ACL in his left knee. It's presumed that he's done for the season.

Gurley is currently a junior, and many believed that he was headed to the NFL after this season. We're not sure if the news will change his plans, but either way, we hope he makes a fully recovery.
