Running Back A.J. Turman, Former 4-Star Recruit, Granted Release To Transfer By Georgia

Getting carries is tough as a Georgia Bulldog, especially with backs like Nick Chubb, Keith Marshall, and Todd Gurley sitting on the depth chart in recent seasons. Chubb is expected to be one of the top backs in the country once again in 2016, and one of his backups will transfer, according to a report. A.J. Turman, a running back out of Orlando who is heading into his redshirt junior season, has been granted his release from the program.

Turman did not receive a touch during his two non-redshirt years as a Bulldog. As a high school player, he was a four-star recruit.

We're sure there'll be a few programs interested in seeing what Turman has.
