SC's Mike Davis Thinks Todd Gurley Will Skip Senior Year, Head To NFL

Georgia running back Todd Gurley has a big decision to make in the next few months. The star junior tore his ACL this past Saturday in his team's game against Auburn, which likely means that he'll face a long road to recovery. He can either return to UGA for his senior year (and risk another injury) or declare for the NFL Draft despite his stock falling.

Wednesday, we may have been given a clue as to what Gurley's thinking. South Carolina running back Mike Davis, who is good friends with the Bulldogs tailback, said that he thinks that he'll be leaving Athens. Davis, for the record, has all-but declared for the draft as well.

It may not be what Georgia fans want to hear, but it also may be what's best for Gurley. Still, don't expect an official announcement until the season is over.
