With the first pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Georgia pass rusher Travon Walker. While analysts widely praised the move as a savvy one, it was far from universal.

In terms of athletic ability, Travon Walker scored off the charts. He ran a significantly faster 40 yard dash than No. 2 pick Aidan Hutchinson despite being 10 pounds heavier. While he doesn't have the same number as Hutchinson, he projects to be a very good pass rusher.

But the Twitter landscape is filled with people who vehemently disagree. Some believe that the Jaguars made a terrible decision by taking Walker. Many would have preferred Hutchinson or Oregon's Kayvon Thibodeaux instead.

We gathered some of the harshest takes on the Travon Walker pick below. Some are ripping Walker himself, others are ripping the organization, the Georgia Bulldogs and everyone in between:

It may be awhile before anyone is able to retweet these hot takes with any confidence. Though if Travon Walker doesn't have a rookie season as good as either Hutchinson or Thibodeaux, it'll certainly be a lot more ammunition for them.

Maybe Walker will wind up being the next Von Miller... or maybe he's the next big draft bust of a pass rusher.

We'll have to wait and see.

What kind of numbers do you think Travon Walker will put up as a rookie for the Jaguars?
