Earlier: Thursday afternoon, Georgia announced that its star running back, Todd Gurley, has been indefinitely suspended from competition. Per the school, there is currently an "ongoing" investigation into an alleged violation of NCAA rules. Head coach Mark Richt has also issued a statement:
"I¹m obviously very disappointed. The important thing for our team is to turn all our attention toward preparation for Missouri."
Gurley, who leads Georgia with 94 carries, 773 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, is considered by many to be a frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy.
