2020 five-star shooting guard Brandon “BJ” Boston is one of the highest-rated prospects in his class, and has offers from all of the top basketball schools. With the Kentucky Wildcats on his radar, he has made a decision that could go a long way towards a decision.
According to Corey Evans of Rivals, Boston has scheduled an official visit to Kentucky on July 25. Per the report, Kentucky is one of five schools on Boston’s list along with Auburn, Duke, Florida, and now Oregon.
247Sports rates Boston as the No. 10 overall prospect in the nation. He is the No. 2 shooting guard in the country, and the No. 1 prospect from the state of Georgia.
His scouting report notes comparisons to New Orleans Pelicans forward and former Duke star Brandon Ingram.
Five-star BJ Boston will take an official visit to Kentucky on July 25, he tells @Rivals. Has also expanded his list from four to five. Oregon now is in contention along with the Wildcats, Auburn, Duke and Florida @RowlandRIVALS @DuckSports https://t.co/KnZ8ozNti4

As for Boston’s potential destination, 247Sports seems to have it narrowed down to two blue bloods: Kentucky with 57-percent and Duke with 43-percent.
Kentucky have already lost ground to Duke as the Blue Devils secured two 2020 commitments from five-stars Jalen Johnson and Jeremy Roach. The Wildcats, meanwhile, have yet to garner a commitment in the Class of 2020.
It bodes well for Kentucky that Boston has their school first on his visitation list though.
