Kentucky basketball traveled to Georgia last night to face Tom Crean and the Bulldogs.

One of UK's emerging stars this year is point guard Ashton Hagans, much to the chagrin of UGA basketball fans.

Hagans grew up about an hour from Athens, attending Dawgs games at the time.

Early in his high school recruitment, he committed to Georgia, only to eventually switch to Kentucky and reclassify up to the 2018 class.

Now, he is an ace defender for John Calipari, and his offensive game is starting to come around as well.

Hagans had one of his best games of the season on Tuesday night, going for a career-high 23 points against his home state school.

During the game, Georgia fans taunted Ashton Hagans, calling him a "traitor."

It was pretty audible at Stegeman Coliseum.

It's hard to see in that video, but it does appear that Hagans blew a kiss to Georgia fans during that warm-up. Kentucky great Rex Chapman tweeted as much, and a video from court-level does show it.

He followed the warm-up kisses to the home crowd by leading all scorers with 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting, along with five rebounds, four assists, and four steals in a 20-point road win.

Not a bad night for the Wildcats freshman.
