One of the nation’s best running backs announced his intentions to leave his program and enter his name into the NFL draft. Kentucky star Benny Snell took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to reveal his plans to play in Kentucky’s bowl game against Penn State and then head to the NFL.
Snell led Kentucky in rushing for the past two seasons and has racked up at least 1,000 yards rushing in each of the past three years. The junior running back entered the season as one of the top running back prospects on the boards of NFL scouts and he certainly didn’t hurt his case with a solid performance this year.
Here’s the announcement from Snell.
