Coach Cal: Legendary Coach Rollie Massimino "Needs Our Prayers"

The legendary head coach apparently isn't doing well.

Rollie Massimino, the legendary former Villanova men's basketball coach who's responsible for one of the greatest upsets ever, apparently isn't doing very well.

The 82-year-old coach "needs our prayers" according to Kentucky's John Calipari.

Coach Cal tweeted this afternoon, asking everyone to keep Massimino in their minds.

Massimino led Villanova's men's basketball program from 1973-1992, winning the 1985 national championship as the No. 8 seed, taking down powerhouse Georgetown. He took the Wildcats to 11 NCAA Tournaments.

The New Jersey native has an 816–462 career record. He was also the head coach at UNLV, Cleveland State and Keiser University.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Massimino and his family at this time.
