It's fair to say that while the SEC is considered the best college football conference year-in and year-out, it doesn't get much love when it comes to college basketball. Well, that may have changed Friday night.
With wins by South Carolina, Kentucky and Florida, the SEC now has three of the eight teams left in this year's NCAA Tournament. That fact did not go unnoticed by UK head coach John Calipari.

Kentucky, ironically, might have the toughest matchup of the group. The Wildcats will take on No. 1 seed North Carolina on Sunday for a right to play in this year's Final Four.
