The first round of the 2022 SEC Men's Basketball Tournament begins this Wednesday and concludes on Sunday. Everyone has their predictions, but what do the computer models believe the outcome will be?

According to Ken Pomeroy through his analytics model, the No. 3-seeded Kentucky Wildcats have the top odds. John Calipari's team edges out No. 1 Auburn with a 30.7-percent chance to win the tournament against Auburn's 26.1-percent chance.

Coming in third is No. 2 Tennessee with a 20.3-percent chance to win the tournament. Arkansas and LSU are a distant fourth and fifth at 8.8-percent and 7.0-percent respectively. No other SEC team has higher than a 4-percent chance to win the tournament.

Interestingly enough, while the Wildcats have the best odds of winning the tournament, they don't even have the top odds of making the Championship Game, or even the Semifinals. Auburn have a 50.2-percent chance to make the Championship Game, while Kentucky have a 48.7-percent chance.

Kentucky also have just the third-highest odds of reaching the Semifinals with their 76.6-percent odds sitting behind Auburn and Tennessee.

Auburn did not participate in the 2021 SEC Tournament due to a self-imposed ban. But they returned with a vengeance this past season, winning the regular season title and securing the top seed.

But the Wildcats have been thriving with forward Oscar Tshiebwe coming off 13 straight double-doubles.

It's going to be a fun SEC Tournament without a doubt.
