ESPN Is Going To Televise Kentucky Basketball's Practice/NBA Combine

Kentucky men's basketball has gotten so big that ESPN is going to televise one of its practices.

The Wildcats' Oct. 10 "practice" is going to be shown on ESPNU from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. E.T. College basketball analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg, Avery Johnson, and Myron Medcalf, along with former Kentucky All-American Tony Delk, will be on the scene in Lexington, Ky. for the event.

It's not really a practice, though. It's basically an NBA combine.

In early September, John Calipari finalized plans to bring scouts from every NBA team to Lexington to watch his players go through drills. Personnel from each franchise are expected to be in attendance for the Oct. 10 practice.

Kentucky has plenty of players worthy of NBA consideration, too.’s 2015 NBA mock draft includes six Wildcats: Karl Towns (No. 4), Willie Cauley-Stein (No. 15), Andrew Harrison (No. 31), Alex Poythress (No. 32), Dakari Johnson (No. 35), and Aaron Harrison (No. 43). The site’s 2016 NBA mock draft includes three other Kentucky players: Marcus Lee (No. 7), Trey Lyles (No. 15), and Devin Booker (No. 17).
