Derek Anderson, a star guard at Kentucky during the mid-1990s, caused some controversy within the Big Blue Nation yesterday when he went on a Louisville radio station and unleashed a barrage of criticism on UK head coach John Calipari. Anderson took aim at Calipari's in-game coaching during the 2014 NCAA Championship Game loss to Connecticut as well as the way he is "running players off" to the NBA.
It only took a few hours for Anderson to issue an apology to Kentucky fans, during which he called himself "the biggest UK and Cal supporter."

Anderson apologizing seemed like the inevitable outcome, and judging by the Twitter responses, it appears most Wildcat supporters are willing to forgive and move on.
