Kentucky's Isaiah Briscoe And De'Aaron Fox Make SEC History

Kentucky's Isaiah Briscoe and De'Aaron Fox have made SEC history by becoming the first teammates to record triple-doubles in the same season.

Kentucky basketball, much to the displeasure of most everyone in college basketball, is scary-good again. They're 11-2 on the season and ranked top 10 in the nation for what seems like millionth time. Thursday night in their 99-76 blowout win over Ole Miss—in which Malik Monk embarrassed the entire state of Mississippi—sophomore Isaiah Briscoe had himself a day, recording the first triple-double of his career with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

It was just the third triple-double in the entire history of Kentucky basketball, which is historic, but that's not all. The second triple-double in school history took place this season on November 28, when De'Aaron Fox recorded one of his own with 14 points, 11 boards and 10 assists.

Two teammates recording triple-doubles in the same season? That's an SEC first, folks:

This team is so, so good.
