A five-star prospect in the Class of 2020, the top college basketball programs in the country are all hoping Isaiah Todd chooses them next year. Now you can add the Kentucky Wildcats to that list of potential suitors.
According to A Sea of Blue, the Wildcats made a scholarship offer to Todd this past week. The offer reportedly comes on the heels of a meeting between Todd and Kentucky head coach John Calipari on Wednesday.
Kentucky's odds are looking pretty solid as of writing. 247Sports' Crystal Ball Predictions have given the Wildcats a 56-percent chance of securing Todd's signature in 2020.
There is also reportedly a strong chance that Todd reclassifies and joins the class of 2019.
Todd is considered the No. 13 overall prospect, the No. 2 power forward prospect, and the No. 1 prospect from the state of Virginia.
There will be a lot of competition, with Todd already having received offers from Kansas, UNC, Baylor, Memphis, and Villanova among others.
The Wildcats may need to wait a while on an answer though. None of the five-star prospects in the Class of 2020 have committed yet.
Fortunately, the Wildcats appear to be leading the chase for three of them.
In addition to Todd, Kentucky is leading the race for small forward Cade Cunningham and point guard Jeremy Roach, per 247Sports.
