John Calipari Already Knows Who His Point Guard Will Be For His 2029-30 Kentucky Team

In 2029, John Calipari will be 70 years old. In all likelihood, the Kentucky men's basketball coach will be retired. He'll probably have added a couple more national titles to his resume by then, too.

If he is still coaching the Wildcats, though, he's got his point guard picked out.

That player? Derrick Rose Jr., the three-year-old son of Coach Cal's former star at Memphis.

That's an awesome picture.

Calipari was reunited with Rose in Chicago today, as No. 2 Kentucky is set to take on No. 5 Duke in the Champions Classic at the United Center at 7:30 p.m. E.T. on ESPN.
