This year, the NCAA made a big college basketball rule change, which allows players to withdraw from the draft process after the NBA Combine, allowing players to receive real feedback on their prospects. It is an incredibly pro-player rule, one of the few that the NCAA has enacted in recent years, and as you'd expect, Kentucky head coach John Calipari is a fan. Today, he made an announcement that shouldn't be all that surprising with the new rule, but will likely make some waves anyway: every single Kentucky player, walk-ons included, will enter the Draft in hopes of a combine invite.

Calipari has long said that the NBA Draft is just as important for his program as the national championship. One of his program mottos is "succeed and proceed." No one has gamed the one-and-done era like Calipari, so it is no surprise that he likes this new rule.
