John Calipari On Twitter: "We Can't Change The Beginning"

UK in trouble?

Kentucky coach John Calipari probably wishes that things had started off a bit better for his Wildcats in the 2013-2014 season. While the team has performed well against lesser competition, it has lost all three of its games against ranked opponents, falling to Michigan State, Baylor and North Carolina. But Cal wants both players and fans to remember that how you finish is way more important than how you start. He took to Twitter this morning to remind everyone.

He's right, of course. If Kentucky was able to win the NCAA title, it's unlikely that anyone would care about how the squad faired in November/December. That being said, if the Wildcats can't figure out how to beat elite opponents, it's an unlikely scenario regardless. We'll see if they can right the ship before March.
