Kentucky’s Tyler Ulis is a spectacular college player, but at 5-foot-9, there are questions about how the SEC Player of the Year will translate to the next level. Well, there are questions unless you are John Calipari. The Kentucky head coach didn’t seem to appreciate the assertion that his guard will be a four-year player, rather than an NBA-bound star, as so many of his Wildcats are. He believes that Ulis will be drafted, in 2016 no less.
Cal on media calling Ulis a four-year player: “You were wrong. He’s a pro. He’ll be drafted. This year.”

Interesting statement by Calipari, and it sounds like he knows what Ulis is thinking in terms of his NBA future. Kentucky fans would obviously love Ulis back, but they have to know the deal by now.
