John Wall Doesn't Think John Calipari Would Leave Kentucky For NBA Because He's "Living His Dream"

Former Kentucky star John Wall appeared on SportsCenter this morning. The Washington Wizards' All-Star point guard discussed a number of topics with the anchors, including his team's playoff future and the state of his college team.

Most interesting, though, was Wall's response when asked if he thinks John Calipari would leave Lexington, Ky., for the NBA. A Wednesday report stated that the Wildcats' coach "desperately" wants to get back to the professional coaching ranks. Calipari, 56, coached the New Jersey Nets from 1996-99, recording a .391 winning percentage.

Wall does not believe Calipari will leave Kentucky anytime soon, however.

"(He's) living his dream (coaching Kentucky)," Wall said.

He certainly seems to be.

Calipari and his 36-0 Wildcats are set to face No. 5 seed West Virginia in the Midwest Region semifinals this evening in Cleveland. The game is set to tip off at 9:45 p.m. E.T. The contest will be televised on CBS.
