Once again John Calipari showed off his recruiting skills by landing a plethora of elite prospects for next season. With his incoming class already on campus, the focus shifts over to Kentucky's next batch of recruiting targets.

The Kentucky Wildcats don't have any recruits for the 2020 or 2021 class, but that should change in the coming months.

Calipari and his coaching staff aren't shy about showing which high school prospects they're heavily recruiting, and the next player on their radars happens to be JT Thor.

As of right now, 247Sports lists Thor as the No. 13 overall recruit in the 2021 class.

Thor is a unique case for the Wildcats because he's actually two years away from playing college hoops. However, Calipari and his staff are actually pushing for the five-star forward to reclassify.

From 247Sports:

Thor says UK assistant Joel Justus has been in close contact with his brother, Jal Rial, who's been handling his recruitment.

"They've been calling my brother a lot,' Thor said last week, where he averaged 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds over four games playing alongside fellow Kentucky recruiting targets Cliff Omoruyi and Cam'Ron Fletcher. "Joel Justus calls my brother a lot, keeps in touch with me."

"They're on the 2020 thing. They think he's ready," Rial said. "They're really on him right now. Coach Cal and Coach Justus want us to come back to Kentucky."

It's not uncommon for recruits to reclassify during their recruitment, so it wouldn't be shocking if Thor follows that route.

Thor would have to adjust his decision timeline if he chooses to reclassify to 2020.

He currently has 13 scholarship offers from schools such as Kansas, Arizona and Maryland.
