On Thursday, seven Kentucky players announced their intentions to leave school early and enter for the 2015 NBA Draft. Of that contingent, freshman forward Karl-Anthony Towns is projected to be the first player selected, possibly as high as the No. 1 overall pick.

This afternoon, Towns posted on his Instagram the five-page handwritten thank you note he composed to the university, his teammates and coaches and the members of Big Blue Nation. It's very heartfelt and definitely worth the read. He even included a postscript from his alter-ego Karlito.

Towns is a "one-and-done" player with the talent level of a college senior and the maturity level of an NBA veteran. Incredibly classy gesture on his part.
