Kentucky currently has the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation, which can get even better in the coming weeks. With five-star forward Jaden McDaniels still going over his options, incoming recruits for the Wildcats are doing their best to persuade him.
McDaniels is the No. 8 overall recruit for the 2019 class, per 247Sports. It appears Kentucky and Washington will battle to earn his commitment.
John Calipari probably doesn’t need much assistance when it comes to recruiting, but he’s getting help regardless. Both Dontaie Allen and Tyrese Maxey are trying hard to get McDaniels to join forces in Kentucky.
The future Wildcats posted an image of McDaniels wearing a Kentucky uniform. Allen said “let’s run it bro,” meanwhile Maxey said “blue and white looks good on you bro.”
Both players made sure to tag McDaniels in their Instagram stories, which should notify him.
It’s definitely worth a shot for the Kentucky recruits to reach out to him on social media. Besides, the clock is ticking for McDaniels to make his decision.

As of right now, Maxey is the top-rated recruit for the Wildcats. However, McDaniels would become the best player in Calipari’s 2019 class if he does choose to play for him.
247Sports has Kentucky as the favorite for McDaniels in its crystal ball predictions. We should find out his college decision within the next few weeks.
