Kentucky Held UCLA To 7 Points In The First Half, Wildcats Lead 41-7

By now, we all realize that Kentucky basketball is incredible this season, but the Wildcats seem to be hitting a new level today. John Calipari's club is facing UCLA in Chicago this afternoon, and at the half, the 'Cats lead the Bruins 41-7. Yes, you read that correctly.

UCLA is 3-for-37 from the field, 0-for-9 from three point range, and just 1-for-2 from the line. Kentucky, on the other hand, is 16-for-35, a solid 6-for-14 from three, and 3-for-4 from the line. The 'Cats also have eight blocks, and 12 assists to just four turnovers. Surprisingly, they are only outrebounding UCLA by two, 28-26.

The highlights have been just as lopsided as the score:

The scariest part is that while this isn't a vintage powerhouse UCLA team, it is still a power conference team with some good talent. The Bruins are 8-3 on the season. It is hard to take "undefeated" hype about any team seriously, but Kentucky is really challenging that notion today.
