As usual, Kentucky basketball had several players enter the NBA Draft as underclassmen this year. A few of them are still going through the process.

One of those players is forward Jarred Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt has not hired an agent but was slated to attend the upcoming NBA scouting combine to work out for teams.

Now, he will not be participating in it.

Vanderbilt announced the news on Twitter this afternoon.

"I'm still weighing my options and working my way through the decision process," he said.

Vanderbilt's decision could be good news for Kentucky fans. He might be one step closer to returning to school.

Vanderbilt battled injuries during his freshman campaign but emerged as a key contributor by the end of the regular season. However, he missed the Wildcats' postseason run with an ankle issue.

In 14 contests, he averaged 5.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.
