Kentucky Lands Commitment From 4-Star JUCO SG Mychal Mulder

Days after visiting the Lexington, Ky., campus, Mychal Mulder announced that's where he'll be spending the rest of his college years.

The four-star shooting guard, who played this past season at Vincennes University - a junior college in Indiana - announced Tuesday afternoon he has committed to Kentucky.

Mulder, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound prospect, also held scholarship offers from Indiana and Mississippi State, among other programs. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

At Vincennes University in 2014-15, Mulder led the team in scoring (15.7 points a game) and made 88 3-pointers.

Kentucky might not be done on the recruiting trail, too. The Wildcats are still in contention to land five-star power forward Cheick Diallo, who might decide in the next couple of days; five-star small forward Jaylen Brown, who's commitment date has yet to be set; and five-star power forward Thon Maker, who's reclassifying from 2016 to '15.

John Calipari lost seven players from last season's squad to the NBA, but he's still expected to form a top-five squad for 2015-16.
