Watch: Wildcats Sophomore Sacha Killeya-Jones Moves "Kentucky" First Step In Bracket

Kentucky player moves Wildcats on NCAA Tournament bracket.

This year's NCAA Tournament teams are trying out a new tradition - one that was very popular in another bracket this past summer.

If you're unaware of The Basketball Tournament - basically, it's a 64-team basketball tournament, with a winner-takes-all prize of $2 million - that takes place each summer. The event features a number of former college stars - many of whom play in Europe. This year, teams from the NCAA Tournament are adopting one of the ways each team celebrates a victory in that event.

This year's winners are essentially advancing themselves on a big cardboard cutout of a bracket after their victories. Pretty cool.

One example? Here's Kentucky sophomore forward Sacha Killeya-Jones, advancing his team after their win over Davidson. The school posted video to its Instagram account.

Kentucky knocked off Davidson, 78-73, despite not hitting a three-point shot for the first time since 1988. Check it out:

Kentucky next gets Buffalo in the second round. The Bulls pulled the shocker of the 2018 NCAA Tournament (so far), upending Arizona.

College basketball fans - do you like the new tradition? It seems pretty harmless - especially since it's done in locker rooms after games and essentially out of the view of opponents who have just lost.

This year's first round games conclude Friday. The second round starts Saturday afternoon.
