Kentucky Officially Announces A "Blackout" For The South Carolina Game

Kentucky football could be in the midst of a big-time turnaround season. The Wildcats have notched three victories already this year, including last week's triumph over SEC foe Vanderbilt, which was its first league win since 2011. As UK prepares for the more difficult stretch of its schedule, the school is doing its best to get fans on board. Monday, Kentucky announced that this Saturday's game against South Carolina will be a "blackout" - meaning fans should wear black in the stands. We're not sure if it means that the team will don black uniforms, but it's certainly possible.

The Gamecocks have struggled this season, but make no mistake, they'll still be favored over the Wildcats - even in Lexington. If Kentucky can pull the upset, you'll start to see a lot of people believing in Big Blue.
