In what isn't a major surprise, Kentucky freshman point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will enter the 2018 NBA Draft and sign with an agent.
Gilgeous-Alexander joins Kevin Knox as one-and-done players for the Wildcats this year. Knox announced his decision on Friday.
Gilgeous-Alexander certainly didn't shy away from the big stage with his announcement. He formally declared for the draft on SportsCenter.

Kentucky brought in eight recruits in its star-studded 2017 class. Gilgeous-Alexander was the second lowest-rated, ahead of only Jemarl Baker.
However, he was the No. 31 overall recruit in the 2017 class, which shows how loaded UK's haul was. Gilgeous-Alexander just might have been the 'Cats best player this season as well.
He averaged 14.4 points, 5.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game for the Wildcats, who won the SEC Tournament and reached the Sweet Sixteen. He scored 29 points against Tennessee in the SEC title game and 27 in an NCAA Tournament win over Buffalo.
Gilgeous-Alexander is projected as a first-round pick in this June's draft, with the potential to work his way into the late lottery.
