Four Former Kentucky Players Help Set This NBA Record

Nine NBA players have scored 50 or more points in a game this season, and four of them are former Kentucky Wildcats.

Twenty-year-old Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker went off for an unthinkable 70 points last night, and with it came a new NBA record for 50-point scorers in a season. This season nine different players have scored 50 or more points, which is incredible on its own, but what's even more remarkable is that four of those nine players all came out of the same college: Kentucky.

Check it out:

Devin Booker, Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall are all former Wildcats, and each of them went off this season for 50 or more points in a game at least once.

Remember last month when Colin Cowherd said that Kentucky players "underwhelm" in the NBA? Maybe he'd like to evaluate that statement.
