Kentucky’s do-it-all quarterback Lynn Bowden has been a star in the making this season. Bowden started his junior year at receiver, but took over at QB in the Wildcat’s sixth game of the season. Since then, the Kentucky QB has put up video game like numbers, leading Kentucky to a 5-2 record since taking over.
Since Bowden’s emergence, NFL scouts have taken notice of his abilities. Some are comparing him to the Saints’ all-purpose player, Taysom Hill.
Given his upward NFL Draft stock trajectory, Bowden will enter the 2020 NFL Draft. The Kentucky quarterback announced his decision on Twitter.
“To our fans, the Big Blue Nation, you took a kid from Youngstown, Ohio and helped me become a man,” Bowden said, via 247Sports. “For that, this place is my forever home. It won’t be easy to leave that, but now is my time to enter the 202o NFL Draft.”

Bowden may be entering the 2020 NFL Draft. But that’s not stopping him from playing in Kentucky’s bowl game.
The Wildcats will face Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 31. Bowden and the Kentucky offense will have to outsmart the Hokies’ stout defense to come away victorious.
