Vanderbilt and Kentucky basketball will play their second game of the season tonight in Nashville.

The two SEC programs met up back on January 13. They didn't exactly light the Rupp Arena scoreboards on fire.

UK knocked off the Commodores 56-47, behind 15 a piece from Ashton Hagans and Keldon Johnson.

Aaron Nesmith was the only 'Dore in double-digits, with 11 points in the low-scoring affair.

In the four games since, Kentucky basketball is red hot.

The Wildcats have won three straight against ranked opponents, with a dramatic win at Auburn, followed by home victories against Mississippi State and, the past weekend, Big 12 favorite Kansas.

The Commodores, who are 9-10 on the year and winless in SEC play, should be a nice respite for the surging 'Cats.

Kentucky basketball's game at Vanderbilt tips off at 9 p.m. ET.

ESPN's BPI gives Kentucky an 81.3-percent chance to win the game.

The game at Vandy's Memorial Gymnasium will be broadcast on ESPN.

Karl Ravech, Jimmy Dykes, and Kris Budden have the call in Nashville.
