Kentucky's Players Were Ruthless In Their Post-Game Comments About West Virginia Following Blowout Victory

Kentucky's players proved last night that you won't like them when they're angry.

The No. 1-seeded Wildcats (37-0) easily defeated No. 5 seed West Virginia in the Sweet 16 in Cleveland Thursday night, 78-39. A day prior to the game, Mountaineers' freshman guard Daxter Miles guaranteed a victory, saying UK would be "36 and 1" following their bout against WVU. That, obviously, was not a prophetic statement.

Following the blowout win, Kentucky's players were quite ruthless commenting about West Virginia's confident nature.

Regardless of whether or not West Virginia's trash talking actually affected Kentucky's play, it would probably be best if all of UK's future opponents kept their mouths shut prior to tipoff.

The Wildcats are set to face Notre Dame in the Elite Eight on Saturday.
