Kentucky's Recruiting Coordinator After Wildcats Miss Out On Big Prospect: "Big Blue Nation...Relax"

Friday afternoon, offensive tackle recruit George Brown Jr., a four-star prospect out of Ohio, committed to Florida by literally pulling out a live gator from underneath a table during his announcement. Brown chose the Gators over Alabama and Kentucky - two fellow SEC schools. While the Crimson Tide likely won't miss a beat, considering they seemingly have the top recruiting class in the country each year, the whiff hurts the Wildcats a little more. After fans expressed frustration with UK losing out on Brown, recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow took to Twitter to remind everyone that it's just one recruit.

According to Rivals, Kentucky pulled in the 17th-best class this past year. The Wildcats also have the 17th-ranked class for 2015, so it's clear that they're miles ahead of where they were just a few seasons ago. Still, it's a bit odd to see Marrow trying to calm his own fan base down. Is BBN being unrealistic when it comes to recruiting?
