Thursday night, Karl-Anthony Towns became Kentucky's third No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft over the last six years (Anthony Davis and John Wall the others).
Towns came on very strong during the draft process, but former Duke big man Jahlil Okafor was viewed by many as the consensus No. 1 player during much of the college basketball season.
Tyler Ulis, Towns' teammate at UK, has long known the big man would be the top selection. For how long? Since "the first day I played with him" he says.
That's a pretty strong (and unsurprising) endorsement of the now-Minnesota Timberwolves' star.
