John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats could land another 2020 recruit very soon. On Thursday, four-star power forward Lance Ware will announce his college decision.
Ware is the No. 32 overall recruit and No. 5 power forward from his class, per 247Sports. He received 16 scholarship offers and went on a handful of visits.
There are only five programs that remain in the hunt for Ware. Those schools are Kentucky, Michigan, Miami, Ohio State and Providence.
Earlier this week, the four-star forward told Evan Daniels of 247Sports that his decision will take place on Thursday.
According to 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions, Kentucky is the overwhelming favorite to receive Ware’s commitment.
Landing another recruit for their 2020 recruiting class would be pretty significant for the Wildcats. They already have commitments from five-star guard BJ Boston Jr. and four-star forward Cam’Ron Fletcher.

Kentucky has the No. 7 recruiting class in the country, and it’s likely that ranking over at 247Sports will be on the rise if Ware does commit to the SEC powerhouse.
Lance Ware, who is originally from Burlington, New Jersey has drawn comparisons to former Duke star Marvin Bagley. He’s also considered a future first-round pick by draft analyst Jerry Meyer.
We’ll find out on Thursday if Ware will take his talents to Lexington.
